What cookies are

The cookies we use
Technical cookies (always active)
These do not require consent because they are strictly necessary for the site to work. The site uses only one: a value stored in your browser (localStorage, not a cookie in the strict sense, but serving the same purpose) to remember the choice made in the cookie banner, so it isn’t asked again on every visit.
Analytics cookies (only with consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate and anonymised form (truncated IP address), how visitors use the site — most viewed pages, traffic sources, actions such as submitting the contact form — so we can improve it. These cookies are only installed if you choose “Accept” in the banner, and are managed by Google Ireland Limited. The main ones are:
- _ga — distinguishes users, lasts about 2 years;
- _ga_<container-id> — maintains session state, lasts about 2 years;
- _gid — distinguishes users, lasts about 24 hours.
